Grabe kagabi (Saturday evening). Hindi ko ine-expect ang ganitong katinding asthma attack sa akin. Already, inuubo na ako at sinisipon. But out of nowhere, bigla na lang nagsikip ang dibdib ko. I almost can’t breathe. Kahit huminga ako sa bibig, wala pa rin ako masyadong nasasagap na hangin. Hirap na hirap na ako sa paghinga, halos nasa-suffocate na ako, so tinulungan ako ng nanay at ate ko. Dinala nila ako sa nearby hospital. Doon sa emergency room, nilagyan ako kaagad ng oxygen ng mga nurse. Seconds later, nilagyan na ako ng nebulizer. Grabe talaga…
Doon sa hospital, grabe, wala akong masabi — literally! (Eh subu-subo ko ba naman yung mouthpiece ng nebulizer eh! 
) Siguro naka-oxygen tsaka nebulizer ako for fifteen minutes. Naging maginhawa ang paghinga ko doon. Samantala, nawala rin ang pag-aalala sa akin ng nanay at ate ko. Kuwentuhan lang sila doon, habang binabantayan ako.
Pero minutes later, nanginginig na ang bibig ko. Nakakangawit palang sumubo ng mouthpiece na yan! Pero di ko yon puwedeng tanggalin, masasayang kasi yung gamot ng nebulizer eh. Tiyagain ko na lang…
Maya maya, nilapitan ako ng doctor. Nilapatan niya ako ng stethoscope. Then sabi niya, inatake nga ako ng asthma. Yun na ang pinakagrabeng attack sa akin, di ko pa nararanasan yon kahit kailan. Pero sabi daw ng nanay ko, inatake na rin daw ako nang ganyan din kagrabe nung batang maliit pa ako (around 2 to 3 years old). Nakaka-inspire yung doctor, ang ganda ganda niya kasi, eh.
Still some minutes later, I found myself in an awkward situation. Naka-oxygen ako, naka-nebulizer ako, and … … … naji-jingle na rin ako! Gusto ko nang pumunta ng toilet, pero di puwede because of the oxygen and the nebulizer. Argh! Kailangan kong magpigil… 
Pero kahit na hindi ako masyadong naging comfortable, at least nakakahinga naman ako ng maayos nung moment na iyon. Pasalamat talaga ako sa kanilang lahat.
After the nebulizer session, hinanap ko kaagad ang toilet.
Ahh…sarap! Nakaraos din. 
Humarap uli ako doon sa beautiful doctor na iyon. Chinek uli niya ako with her stethoscope. Then sinabi niya na kailangan ko pang bumalik sa nebulizer session.
And so it went. Naka-nebulizer na naman ako. This time, without the oxygen. Around fifteen minutes din ang inabot.
Pero bago ako nag-second nebulizer session uli, nagpunta muna ako ng toilet. Para maiwasan yung nasty discomfort na yon…
Sa wakas, natapos din ang lahat. Niresetahan na ako ng doctor. Then umuwi na kami.
Salamat sa nanay ko, sa ate ko, sa mga nurse, tsaka sa magandang doctor. Nakakahinga na ako uli ng normal. Incidentally, natigil din ang ubo ko nung gabing yon. Galing!
